It all started when I asked my friend Klas if he had any cool upcoming trips. He mentioned something about a Morocco trip in October next year, where he would drive down to the Atlas mountains and participate in some charity/volunteer project. There was talk about sheikhs and wonderful adventures, and I thought it sounded interesting.
As I started thinking about it, it grew on me more and more. Drive to Morocco. What an adventure! I started lobbying for this at work, and since they had never had such a request before, and since I am working in an American company, it was easy to convince them that volunteer work would be an ok excuse to be away for a month. And this really set things in motion…
